WHO WE ARE

The Stage Door Foundation (a 501c3 organization) provides support to theatre makers in the developmental process by providing subsidized space rental, professional development, and a new pipeline for the development of new works – allowing artists to focus on the creative journey and ignite the innovation of art.

Under leadership of industry titans, including Tony Winners LYNN AHRENS (Ragtime), SUSAN STROMAN (The Producers), SERGIO TRUJILLO (Jersey Boys), JOHN KANDER (Chicago), CHRISTOPHER GATTELLI (Newsies), and business leader JEFF WHITING (Open Jar Studios), the organization strives to find ways for new works to continue to come to life and shape the future of the American Theatre.
